Studio Policy

  • All fees are based on 27 classes per season, and must be paid upon registration. Preregistered families first payment will be made by August 21st 2025.
  • The studio will not make up missed lessons by the student, nor will money be refunded.
  • We reserve the right to dismiss any student from class if he/she is a disturbance.
  • There is a $35.00 charge on all returned cheques
  • There is a $25 fee charged on any LATE e-transfers.
  • Silhouette Dance Productions reserves the right to deny registration.
  • All cheques will be deposited on the 21st of the month, or on the next business day following the 21st.
  • Each registered family will be required to join our password protected website. Click on the “Members Zone” tab at the top right of this page. Click on “register” and create your own username and password. Be sure to use the email address indicated on your registration form for security.
  • Solo/Duet information may be requested by email from September 29th – October 30th. Some criteria applies. Forms will be accepted up to October 30th or until the roster is full. For students age 8 and up.

Refund Policy

  • The studios refund policy for lesson fees requires one written months notice.
  • There will be no refund on Costume Fees after October 21st, or on Festival Entry fees after November 21st.
  • There will be no refunds for class fees after October 21st..
  • Prorated refunds will be subject to a $25 admin fee.
  • Any outside funding (ie. Kidsport, Jumpstart) will be non refundable once processed by the dance studio

Inclement Weather Policy

 

  • On a day that local school buses do not run, or the temperature is below -35, it is parents responsibility to check the studio website after 1pm for class cancellation.
  • In the case of cancellation, a mass notification email will be sent by 2pm the to all families registered on the website. No additional phone calls or emails will be provided by Silhouette Dance Productions.
  • No make up class will be scheduled for inclement weather days.

Attendance Policy

 

  • Dancers may be withdrawn from Silhouette Dance Productions if they have missed more than 5 dance classes of a particular discipline throughout the season.
  • No refund will be issued.
