DANCE VIBE – ARDEN THEATRE

April 10-13th 2025

St. Albert @ The Arden Theater

 

The Arden Theater is in the heart of St. Albert just one block west of Hwy 2 on St. Anne Street.

  • Free parking is across the street from the theater. Daytime is busy downtown, so leave yourself enough time to park. There is alternate parking just a half block past the theater. See the “parking map” below.
  • Once you have entered the theater, you will find the change rooms set at the back of the lobby between the two theater staircases. When your dancer is ready to perform, they can make their way to the rehearsal hall located to the left of the concession. Following adjudication, you can meet your dancer at the rehearsal hall entrance.
  • Dance Vibe will have some “outerwear” (pants, t-shirts etc.) for sale. Outerwear is CASH ONLY.
  • There MAY be a videographer and photographer onsite with the option to purchase.
  • There is an admission charge for all spectators at the door. $10 per day, $35 for a weekend pass, $8 per program.  All dancers watch for free! Admission is CASH ONLY. There is an ATM in the theatre lobby.

Dance Vibe “Vibe to Vibe Showcase”

 

Each adjudicator will be picking their favorite 5-6 groups and 2-3 solos of the day…any group/solo can be chosen no matter the age, mark or discipline…each group/solo chosen will perform again at the end of the day in the showcase! At the end of each adjudicators shift the groups/solos selected to dance in the showcase will be posted on the lobby board. You won’t want to miss the showcases they are a great opportunity for the dancers to perform again!

 

There is no extra fee at the door if you have already been in the theater to watch on the same day.

 

IF any of our dancers are chosen, to perform again, I’ll send an email your way ASAP! Please note: An onstage plaque award is NOT necessarily an indicator of an invite to the showcase.

 

This is certainly nothing to get stressed about… if the opportunity arises for any of our dancers, we will deal with  the “who is available to attend or not” dilemma. Good Luck to all of our participants!
